Gatwick Airport Ltd. said Friday that it has appointed Jim Butler as chief financial officer.

Mr. Butler will join Gatwick's board in September. His most recent role was as senior vice president for airport operations and cargo at American Airlines Group Inc.

Gatwick, the U.K.'s second largest airport, is 50.01% owned by Vinci SA, with Global Infrastructure Partners LLC owning the rest.
