--Spanish construction company Actividades de Construccion y Servicios SA has approached Italian infrastructure operator Atlantia SpA to buy toll road operator Autostrade per l'Italia, the Financial Times reports, citing a letter it has obtained.

--ACS is valuing Autostrade per l'Italia, in which Atlantia has an 88% stake, at between 9 billion euros and 10 billion euros ($10.69 billion to $11.87 billion), the FT reports.

--ACS, Atlantia and Autostrade per l'Italia didn't respond to request for comment when approached by The Wall Street Journal.
