Atlantia Swings to 9-Month Loss Amid Pandemic

Atlantia SpA said Friday that it swung to a loss in the first
nine months of 2020 as the coronavirus pandemic hit its
activities.
The Italian infrastructure operator posted a loss of 718 million
euros ($846.8 million), compared with a profit of EUR1.04 billion
during the same period last year.
Operating revenue fell to EUR6.22 billion from EUR8.82 billion
mainly due to coronavirus restrictions, it said.
Atlantia added that revenue could potentially be fall by around
EUR3.5 billion in 2020 compared with 2019. The company had
previously anticipated a EUR3 billion decline.
