Tesoro Corp. (TSO) is in the process of restarting its Golden
Eagle refinery in Martinez, Calif., refinery after experiencing a
three-hour power outage Wednesday, a company spokesman said
Thursday.
A mechanical problem caused unplanned flaring at Royal Dutch
Shell's (RDS.A) 156,000 barrel-a-day refinery in Martinez, Calif.,
early Sunday morning, according to a filing with state
regulators.
Tesoro said that its Anacortes, Wash., refinery, rocked by a
deadly explosion in April, will return to normal operating rates by
the end of this week.
