The following email was sent to all ironSource
employees by Tomer Bar-Zeev Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of ironSource on September 13, 2022.
Dear All,
A quick but important update: Last night AppLovin announced that it
would not pursue a deal with Unity, following Unity’s rejection of its offer. We believe this decision underscores the transformative
nature of the ironSource-Unity combination, which creates a platform positioned to deliver amazing value for developers and content creators.
In another milestone of our merger with Unity, on October 7th we will
be holding our special general meeting of shareholders to vote on the deal. Unity’s shareholder meeting will be held on the same
day.
We are excited to continue working towards completing the merger with
Unity, expected to close before the end of the year, and to get started on all the great things we expect to be able to do together.
As always, thank you for all your hard work - we have a truly special
team.
