Energous Corporation [NASDAQ: WATT], the developer of WattUp®,
a revolutionary wireless charging 2.0 technology, today announced
that it was selected by SK Telesys to exclusively demonstrate its
award-winning WattUp wireless charging technology at the SK ICT
Tech Summit on October 31, 2018.
The event, hosted by SK Group, takes place from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at the Grand Walkerhill Seoul. The
SK ICT Tech Summit brings together leaders from various industries
to introduce new communication technologies from the company
and/or in collaboration with partners.
At this year’s event, Energous has been chosen by SK Telesys, a
technology-based business solution provider, to showcase wirelessly
charged hearing aids, previously announced this summer from
Delight, as well as additional WattUp applications. The hearing
aids are equipped with Energous’ WattUp RF wireless charging
technology, which provides exceptional convenience to users with an
included charging pad and eliminates the need for constant battery
replacement.
