Jon Huddleston Promoted to Vice President of Utility Operations

Northwest Natural Gas Company, dba NW Natural (NYSE:NWN), today
announced the promotion of Jon Huddleston to Vice President of
Utility Operations, effective March 31, 2018.
Huddleston will report to Kim Heiting, who was promoted to
Senior Vice President of Utility Operations and Chief Marketing
Officer, also effective March 31, 2018, following the retirement of
Grant Yoshihara.
Huddleston has worked at NW Natural for 27 years in a wide range
of positions, most recently overseeing transmission and
distribution construction, gas operations and maintenance, storage
plant operations and gas control. Previously, he led engineering,
technical training, business systems support, business analytics,
technology implementation and federal pipeline safety compliance
for NW Natural.
“With Jon’s vast industry experience and knowledge, he is well
prepared to take on this new responsibility at NW Natural,” said
Heiting. “We are fortunate to have someone of his caliber on our
team. His involvement in instituting best practices in the industry
has made our own company operations stronger.”
Huddleston currently represents NW Natural with several national
and regional industry trade and research associations, including
the American Gas Association, Western Energy Institute and the Gas
Technology Institute. Prior to joining NW Natural, he worked for
The Boeing Company in the greater Seattle area as a design engineer
and team lead. He has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from
Oregon State University.
Huddleston currently serves on the board of United Way of the
Columbia-Willamette. He has been active with Oregon State
University, serving on the Multiple Engineering Cooperative Program
internship board and as a frequent guest speaker. Huddleston has
also served on local chambers of commerce, economic development
councils and utility coordinating councils, and has coached a
variety of youth sports.
