FOREST PARK, Ga., Nov. 28, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- The Clorox Company
(NYSE:CLX), headquartered in Oakland,
California, today celebrated the official opening of a new
manufacturing facility for the company's Home Care products.
Named Atlanta West, the 258,000-square-foot facility is adjacent to
the company's existing manufacturing facility, called Atlanta Main,
which also manufactures Home Care products. The opening of Atlanta
West has created about 100 jobs in Clayton County – from managers to engineers to production
associates.

in this state-of-the-art facility to enhance our supply chain and

Today, Clorox-branded products are in more than 65 percent of
U.S. households, due, in part, to the company's strong focus on
delivering superior value to consumers through product innovation.
Notably, in January 2017, the company
launched the Clorox® Scentiva® platform –
starting with disinfecting wipes and sprays – which deliver a
differentiated product experience through scents that are designed
in collaboration with high-end fragrance houses. In Clorox's first
quarter of its fiscal year 2018, Scentiva® products
contributed to strong sales growth of the Home Care business.
For more than 70 years, the Atlanta area has been an important hub for
Clorox. With offices in Alpharetta, Kennesaw and Forest
Park, the company employs approximately 800 people in sales,
strategic sourcing, engineering, quality, product supply,
manufacturing and distribution.
