US JOLTS job openings unexpectedly rose in August
In the US, the JOLTS job openings unexpectedly climbed to 9.61 million in August, compared to a revised level of 8.92 million jobs in the previous month.
Japan Jibun Bank services PMI dropped less than expected in September
In Japan, the Jibun Bank services PMI fell to 53.80 in September, compared to a level of 54.30 in the previous month. Markets were expecting the PMI to drop to 53.30.
