U.S.-based investment company Blackrock Inc. (BLK) has increased its stake in French entertainment-to-telecom company Vivendi SA (VIV.FR) above 5%, according to a filing Wednesday with French market regulator Autorite des Marches Financiers.

Following the purchase of Vivendi shares in the market, Blackrock owns 5.04% in the company.
