BIRMINGHAM, Ala., March 17 /PRNewswire/ -- BBVA Compass announced
that Daniel R. Brown has been
appointed Beaumont and Port Neches
Area President and Regional Commercial Manager. Brown was elevated
to the position after having been Area President and Commercial
Manager for the Temple,
Belton and Salado markets. As Beaumont and Port Neches City President, Brown
is responsible for leading a strong team to develop commercial
banking activities for BBVA Compass in the region.

A Louisiana native, Brown
graduated with a B.S. in Finance from Nicholls
State University and attended the Graduate School of Banking
at Louisiana State University.
Post-graduation, Brown embarked on a 24 year banking career with
Capital One Bank (previously ArgentBank and Hibernia National
Bank). Rising steadily through the ranks, Brown wrapped up his
career with Capital One Bank in August of 2006. Brown served BBVA
Compass in his position as Area President and Commercial Manager
for the Temple, Belton and Salado markets from September 2006 until his January 2010 Beaumont and Port Neches City President
appointment.
Brown and wife Elizabeth are proud parents to five children and
grandparents to one grandchild.
