Fiscal 2006 Net Sales Increased To $3.318 Billion NEW ALBANY, Ohio,
Feb. 8 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Abercrombie & Fitch (NYSE:ANF)
today reported net sales of $252.3 million for the five-week period
ended February 3, 2007, a 37% increase over net sales of $184.3
million for the four-week period ended January 28, 2006. Total
Company direct-to- consumer net sales increased 66% to $18.3
million for the five-week period ended February 3, 2007 compared to
the four-week period ended January 28, 2006. Due to the 53rd week
in Fiscal 2006, January comparable store sales are compared to the
five-week period ended February 4, 2006. January comparable store
sales decreased 6%. For the fifty-three week fiscal year ended
February 3, 2007, the Company reported a net sales increase of 19%
to $3.318 billion from $2.785 billion for the fifty-two week period
ended January 28, 2006. Total Company direct-to- consumer net sales
increased 42% to $174.1 million for the fifty-three week period
ended February 3, 2007 compared to the fifty-two week period ended
January 28, 2006. Due to the 53rd week in Fiscal 2006, full-year
comparable store sales are compared to the fifty-three week period
ended February 4, 2006. Fiscal 2006 comparable store sales
