Impossible Foods Inc. on Tuesday said its flagship Impossible Burger has been designated as the "Preferred Plant-Based Burger" for the Walt Disney World and Disneyland resorts, as well as the Disney Cruise Line, under an alliance with Walt Disney Co.

The Redwood City, Calif., maker of plant-based meat products said the Impossible Burger soon will be available at multiple locations across the resorts and cruise line.

Disney in September announced plans to add plant-based items to the menus at all major quick- and table-service restaurants at its U.S. theme parks. The company has added more than 400 plant-based offerings at its Walt Disney World resort in Orlando, Fla., and will roll them out at its Disneyland resort in Anaheim, Calif., this spring.
