Leading privacy technology company makes its CTV solution the most complete CMP available and announces webinar with Google

Sourcepoint, the privacy software platform for the world's most influential brands, today announced the addition of HbbTV (Hybrid Broadcast Broadband TV) support to its Connected TV (CTV) Consent Management Platform (CMP) offerings. This expansion further solidifies Sourcepoint's position as a leader in privacy solutions for the rapidly growing CTV market.

The integration of HbbTV support into Sourcepoint's Dialogue CMP for OTT/CTV environments allows broadcasters and content providers to deliver customized consent messages and enable user choice across an even broader range of CTV platforms. This addition complements Sourcepoint's existing support for major OTT/CTV devices, including Roku TV, Android TV, Tizen, AppleTV, Fire TV, and WebOS.

"As the CTV landscape continues to evolve, it's become more important than ever for publishers and advertisers to approach privacy as a truly cross-platform initiative," said Ben Barokas, CEO and Co-Founder at Sourcepoint. "The addition of HbbTV support to our CTV offerings demonstrates our commitment to providing the most comprehensive consent management solutions in the market."

Sourcepoint also announced an upcoming webinar in collaboration with Google, scheduled for September 10, 2024. The webinar will focus on the importance of consent management in the CTV ecosystem and the upcoming changes to Google's CMP requirements. Interested parties can register for the webinar on Sourcepoint’s website here.

“Sourcepoint is delighted to have been awarded Google's Gold certification, demonstrating our ability to achieve the highest standard for privacy and consent management," said Frances Hudson, VP Product, at Sourcepoint. “With Google expanding its requirement for customers to have a Google-certified CMP in CTV environments in 2025, our solutions are well-positioned to help CTV clients navigate the evolving privacy landscape.”

“The complexity of consent in today’s CTV landscape necessitates a CMP partner that not only offers cutting-edge technology, but also provides exceptional consultative support and guidance,” added Brian Kane, COO and Co-Founder at Sourcepoint. “We are proud that our clients value the high level of support we provide, and their positive feedback on G2 speaks to the expertise and responsiveness of our team.”
