PITTSBURGH, July 2, 2024
/PRNewswire/ -- "I'm a police officer and very familiar with the
dangers and inefficiencies associated with using traditional spike
strips to try and stop a criminal approaching in a speeding car,"
said an inventor, from Panhandle,
Texas, "so I invented the RICHEY SAFE SPEED STRIP. My design
would improve officer safety and target the criminal so other
vehicles are not accidentally damaged."
The invention provides a safer means of quickly disabling a
suspect's vehicle by police. In doing so, it would keep the officer
at a safe distance to avoid being struck and seriously injured or
killed. It also would protect police car tires and nearby vehicle
tires. As a result, it increases safety and security. The invention
features an innovative and weatherproof design that is easy to use
so it is ideal for law enforcement agencies, security firms,
etc.
The original design was submitted to the National sales office
of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to
manufacturers or marketers. For more information, write Dept.
