American Stock Exchange Lists the Gabelli Global Gold, Natural Resources & Income Trust Gabelli Asset Management Inc. Launches Second Closed-End Fund on Amex NEW YORK, March 29 /PRNewswire/ -- The American Stock Exchange(R) (Amex(R)) today began trading common shares of the Gabelli Global Gold, Natural Resources & Income Trust under the ticker symbol GGN. The Gabelli Global Gold, Natural Resources & Income Trust, the second closed-end fund launched by Gabelli Asset Management's investment company advisory subsidiary, Gabelli Funds, LLC, to list on the Amex, is a newly organized, non-diversified, closed-end management investment company. The Fund's investment objectives are to provide a high level of current income with a secondary objective to seek capital appreciation. Under normal market conditions, the Fund will invest at least 80% of its assets in equity securities of U.S. and overseas companies principally engaged in the gold and natural resources industries. As part of its investment strategy, the Fund intends to earn income primarily through an option strategy of writing (selling) covered call options on equity securities in its portfolio.
