Director/Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibility ('PDMRs') Shareholdings
On 7 April 2008, the Directors' and PDMRs' listed below received an allocation
of shares in accordance with the rules of the Annual Deferred Share Bonus Plan
(the 'Plan'). In order to satisfy the income tax, national insurance and
associated dealing costs for Jonathan Roger, Christopher Bird and Mike Travis a
proportion of shares allocated have been sold at a price of 639.4844 pence per
share to satisfy these liabilities.
Jon Murphy and Rod Begbie have self funded these liabilities, and as such
received the full allocations, as detailed below:

The total allocation of shares under the Plan for the above participants and
other Plan members has been satisfied by the transfer of 282,188 ordinary shares
in the Company, representing 0.20% of the total issued share capital, from the
Venture Production IOM Employee Benefit Trust to the participants of the Plan.
Following this transaction, the interests of the above Directors and PDMRs are
as follows:
