Director/PDMR Shareholdings


The Company was notified on 19th December 2005 of the following changes in the
interests of Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibilities ('PDMRs') in the
Ordinary Shares of 0.4p each of the Company (the "Shares").


Notification under DR 3.1.4(R)(1)(a):


Mr Roderick Begbie, Corporate Development Manager, had exercised options over
25,000 Shares at a price of 120p, representing 0.02% of the issued share capital
of the Company, which were subsequently sold at a price of 517.4046p per share.
Mr Begbie's shareholding in Venture remains unchanged as a result of the
transaction at 15,347 Shares, representing 0.01% of the issued share capital of
the Company.
