Notification of major interests in shares



The Company was notified on 22nd July 2005 of the following changes in interests
in its ordinary shares of 0.4p each (the "Shares").



Executors of Lord Weinstock, Deceased, ("Weinstock"), registered holder Adam &
Company Nominees, A/C TROY

Sale of 250,000 Shares, representing 0.20% of the issued share capital of the
Company, at 380p per share.  Following this transaction Weinstock retains an
interest in 4,196,086 Shares, representing 3.42% of the issued share capital of
the Company.



RIT Capital Partners plc ("RIT")

Sale of 250,000 Shares, representing 0.20% of the issued share capital of the
Company, at 380p per share.  Following this transaction RIT retains an interest
in 4,195,736 Shares, representing 3.42% of the issued share capital of the
Company.



Both of these holdings are managed by Prospect Investment Management Limited,
which is represented on the Board of Directors of the Company by Mr David
Morrison.
