10 Leisure plc, a division of 10 Group plc, has signed a territory franchise
agreement for two territories, greater Birmingham and greater Manchester, with
Onepointfor Ltd to open two One Point sites, one in Birmingham and the other in
Manchester, with an option to open a further 18 sites (9 in each) in the above
territories and with the opportunity to develop more sites in these and other
locations.

One Point is a unique new franchise development, providing a stand alone,
self-contained unit or in-line unit that will be located in shopping malls, rail
and bus stations and airports containing cashpoint, mobile phone top up
facility, coffee, treats and snacks (see www.onepointfor.com)

10 Leisure plc is to pay £10,000 franchise fee for each kiosk opened.

In addition, the fit out costs of each kiosk are expected to be in the region of
£20,000-£30,000. 10 Leisure will operate the kiosks, but it has the option to
undertake joint ventures with individual operators.

10 Leisure plans to open the first unit in Poplar Mall, Poplar Way, Solihull,
West Midlands, where heads of terms for the lease have been agreed. As well as
an ATM (automated teller machine) and mobile phone top-up station, it will also
provide a take-away outlet offering fresh coffee, soft drinks, muffins,
doughnuts, savoury treats, ice cream and smoothies.

10 Group chairman Andy Moore said: "This exciting new franchise opportunity
gives 10 Leisure an entry into a market currently worth £10 billion and growing

"The snacks and treats market has grown fast. From 1994-99 chocolate
confectionery grew three per cent, while snacks and treats grew 97 per cent
(Source: Mintel, 2001)."
