                           Response to press comment




Titanium Asset Management Corp. ("Titanium" or the "Company") (AIM: TAM) notes 
the speculation in the Isreali press yeterday and the subsequent announcement 
by Clal Finance, Titanium's largest shareholder.

Titanium confirms that in has entered into a non-binding letter of intent to 
acquire an asset management business.

There can be no guarantee that the proposed transaction will be consummated and 
Titanium will make further announcements in due course.
