SPG Media Group plc announces that at the AGM held today Mr Steve Nicholson,
Chairman, made the following statement:

"Trading is broadly in line with our expectations and the communication made to
the market when we announced our results on 15 June 2004".

The Company also announces that all of the resolutions put to shareholders at
the AGM were duly passed.

The Company has submitted copies of the resolutions passed at the AGM to the UK
Listing Authority. These will shortly be available for inspection at the UK
Listing Authority's Document Viewing Facility, at 25 The North Colonnade, Canary
Wharf, London E14 5HS.
