SPG Media Group plc, the web and print publisher and event organiser, announces
that on 13 August 2007 Ken Appiah (Finance Director) purchased 8,333 ordinary
shares of five pence each in the Company at a price of nine pence each and was
then allocated 8,333 in matching shares under the Company's Share Incentive Plan
also at a price of nine pence each.  He now holds 87,877 shares representing
approximately 0.10 per cent. of the Company's issued and voting share capital.
