             Conversion of shares in Sodra Petroleum AB ("Sodra")

Holders of a total amount of 35,812,836 convertible shares in Sodra Petroleum
have requested conversion of their shares in return for a right to subscribe
for shares in Lundin Oil AB ("Lundin"). As a result Lundin now holds
approximately 94 per cent. of the issued share capital of Sodra.

Lundin Oil is shortly going to initiate compulsory acquisition of the residual
stock in accordance with the Swedish Companies Act.
