SENIOR ANNOUNCES EXPANSION OF AEROSPACE FACILITIES

Senior plc, the international manufacturing group, today announces that it
will be investing in two new production facilities in order to increase both
capacity and efficiency to meet growing Aerospace demand.

Senior Aerospace - BWT in Macclesfield, England will be relocated to a new,
purpose built leased 65,000 sq. ft factory close to its current site. BWT has
increased its market share dramatically in the last two years, winning key
development programmes in the regional jet market. In order to facilitate
continued growth BWT now needs to move to a larger facility. It is anticipated
that sales volumes will be significantly increased while maintaining current
operating margins.

Senior Aerospace - ERMETO in Blois, France will build a new, owned 70,000 sq.
ft production facility close to its existing sites. Ermeto has grown steadily
over recent years and is close to capacity within its existing five
facilities. The new facility will allow consolidation of all current
activities onto one site and provide capacity for further growth, as well as
improving efficiency.

Graham Menzies, Chief Executive said today:

"Senior's strong reputation with its customers is driving growth in these
markets, and continued investment in our facilities remains critical to
offering the highest standards of customer service as our businesses expand.
These two new facilities are in addition to the new Aerospace facility
recently opened in Saltillo, Mexico and the new Automotive facility currently
under construction in Olomouc, Czech Republic".
