                              Directorate Changes

Stanley Gibbons, the stamp dealers and publishers, is pleased to announce that
Robert Henkhuzens BA FCA, has been appointed to the Board of the Company today
as an independent Non-Executive Director.

Bob Henkhuzens, 54, was a partner with Coopers & Lybrand ('C&L') in Jersey for
ten years. There he headed the commercial sector department within the Business
Assurance division, providing audit, tax and accounting services to both local
and international businesses trading in the Channel Islands and Worldwide.
During this time he was also responsible for the firm's corporate finance and
management consulting services. Since leaving C&L in 1998, Bob has worked as an
independent consultant and advisor and is a director of various private
companies. He is a former president of the Jersey Chamber of Commerce and
vice-president of the Jersey Society of Chartered and Certified Accountants and
remains a committee member of both.

Bob has agreed to join the Company's Audit and Remuneration Committees.

Paul Fraser, Chairman of Stanley Gibbons, said,

wealth of experience, skills and successful track record will assist the Company
in developing the business to achieve new levels of profitability. This makes
him an ideal addition to our Board.'

He succeeds Tim Dunningham, who has advised the Board that he is stepping down
as Non-Executive Director with immediate effect.

Paul Fraser said,

'Tim has been a Non-Executive Director of Stanley Gibbons since its introduction
to AIM in September 2000. The Board wishes to thank him for his valuable
contribution to the Company's successful growth and development over the last
five and a half years'.
