"We are pleased to announce that we will open a base at Munich
Memmingen Airport next winter, our 86(th) in Europe and 10(th) in
Germany, with 1 based aircraft, an investment of $100m, as we
launch our 2017 Munich Memmingen winter schedule, our biggest ever,

Thessaloniki and Warsaw, which will help deliver 825,000 customers
p.a. as we grow our Munich Memmingen traffic by almost 40%. These
new routes will go on sale later today as we continue to grow
German tourism and jobs, underlining our commitment to the Bavaria
Allgäu region.
We are also pleased to report record bookings on our Munich
Memmingen summer 2017 schedule and German customers and vistors can
look forward to even lower fares, so there's never been a better
time to book a low fare flight on Ryanair. We urge all customers
who wish to book their holidays to do so now on the Ryanair.com
website or mobile app, where they can avail of the lowest fare air
travel to and from Munich Memmingen.
To celebrate our new Munich Memmingen base and the launch of
winter 2017 schedule, we are releasing seats for sale across our
European network from just EUR9.99 which are available for booking
until midnight Thursday (23 Mar). Since these amazing low prices
will be snapped up quickly, customers should log onto
www.ryanair.com and avoid missing out."
Munich Memmingen CEO, Ralf Schmid said:
"This strong commitment of Ryanair at Memmingen Airport makes
our offer even better. It is also a confirmation of the hard work
that our team did over the past 10 years as well as a reward for
the courage of our founding partners. Furthermore, it is an
important sign of trust towards those in charge at Memmingen
Airport and our local politicians.
Our partner is expecting a quick development of the airport and
is trusting the involved political parties that actions will follow
their promises and that they will support the planned construction.
The increased activity of Ryanair in Memmingen secures double digit
growth rates in the next two years and is important for the local
tourism industry."
