                            RESULTS OF EQUITY PLACING
                                        
NUL is pleased to announce the successful completion of the placing announced
earlier today (the "Placing").

A total of 8,250,000 new ordinary shares of US$0.01 each in the capital of NUL
(the "Placing Shares") have been placed  by Deutsche Bank AG, London Branch at a
price of 420 pence per Placing Share, raising gross proceeds of approximately 
#34.7 million (approximately #33.7 million net of expenses including placing
commissions, legal fees and payments to  Nufcor International Limited and the
Directors).  The Placing Shares being issued represent approximately 25.0 per 
cent. of NUL's issued ordinary share capital prior to the Placing.

The Placing Shares will, when issued, be credited as fully paid and will rank
equally in all respects with the existing  ordinary shares of US$0.01 each in
the capital of NUL (the "Ordinary Shares"), including the right to receive all 
dividends and other distributions declared, made or paid in respect of such
Ordinary Shares after the date of issue of  the Placing Shares.

Application has been be made for the Placing Shares to be admitted to trading by
the London Stock Exchange plc on its  AIM market ("Admission").  It is expected
that Admission will become effective and dealings will commence in the  Placing
Shares at 8.00a.m. on 9 May 2007.
