Eurodis Electron plc has been advised on 24 March 2000 that
following a recent purchase of 500,000 shares, Norwich Union
plc (as the ultimate holding company of the Norwich Union
Group of Companies) has an interest in 4,000,000 ordinary 10p
shares representing 6.48 per cent of the issued share capital
of the Company.

The shares are held by Norwich Union Life & Pensions Insurance
Society B a/c.
