NETWORK TECHNOLOGY APPOINTS CREDIT LYONNAIS LAING 

Network Technology PLC, the network connectivity specialist which
designs and manufactures printservers, routers, HUBs, plotters and
network management software, today announced that it has appointed
Credit Lyonnais Laing as the company's stockbrokers in succession to
Burrough Johnstone Ltd.

Commenting on this change Klaus Bollmann, Network Technology's chief
executive, said: "Burrough Johnstone helped us to achieve a successful
flotation in 1996.  However, following our transfer to the Official List
last year and our increasing international role, we have found it
necessary to engage the services of a broker whose UK and overseas
resources are better suited to helping us achieve our ambitions and
strategy.  Credit Lyonnais Laing was a natural choice."
