NETWORK TECHNOLOGY: QUARTERLY RESULTS REPORTING SIGNIFICANT INCREASE IN SALES
FIGURES FOR CURRENT QUARTER AND THE PRODUCTION OF STORAGE SYSTEM PRODUCTS TO
START IN JANUARY

Network Technology, the network connectivity specialist which designs and
manufactures printservers, routers, HUBs, plotters and network management
software, announces that in the future it will provide quarterly unaudited
results, in addition to its interim and full year results. The directors came
to the conclusion that quarterly trading updates are a good way of keeping
investors more regularly informed of the company's development.

The current year's first quarter sales figures to date of NT's Printserver
technology to OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturers) customers, which
constitutes one of the Group's main areas of business, have shown a
significant increase compared to the same period last year demonstrating NT's
continued role as a major supplier of this technology to OEMs.

The production line for a number of new storage system products will start in
January. Whilst the network connectivity market is growing by 80% per year
and is expected to grow at that rate for a number of years, the demand for
data storage is estimated to be growing by around 400% a year. The recent
acquisition of a storage system patent and the scheduled production start in
January will place NT in an excellent position to gain a significant share of
this multi-billion dollar market.

Commenting on the Board's decision, Klaus Bollmann, Chief Executive of Network
Technology says: "Reporting quarterly is a natural progression now that we are
fully listed and as Network Technology continues to grow and play a more
international role. The sales figures for the first quarter to date for
Printserver technology to OEM customers are very encouraging and demonstrates
that our business is unlikely to suffer from any downturn in the Asian
markets. Japan has been 20% of the world's computer market for the last 40
years and this fact is not likely to change quickly."

"Not only do we have record orders from Japan but also the best forward order
exposure into next year that we have ever had. These factors, coupled with
our storage system production starting in January, enable Network Technology
to look forward to the New Year with confidence."
