                 Completion of Bits Per Second Ltd Acquisition

Further  to  the announcement made on 27 October 1997, Network Technology  has
completed  the  acquisition of Bits Per Second Ltd  based  in  Brighton,  East
Sussex,  for  a  total  consideration of 128,000 Network  Technology  ordinary
shares of 10p each and #87,000 cash.

One  of  BPS's  main  areas of expertise is in back  up  and  storage  systems
software.   This  expertise  will  help  Network  Technology  accelerate   its
development of a number of large storage system products that are based  on  a
storage system patent it acquired in September of this year.

The  128,000  ordinary shares will rank pari passu in all  respects  with  the
existing  ordinary  shares.  Application will be  made  to  the  London  Stock
Exchange for the new ordinary shares to be admitted to the Official List.   It
is  expected  that  admission will become effective and  trading  in  the  new
ordinary shares will commence on Monday, 17 November 1997.
