                                AGM Trading Update

At the Annual General Meeting of Network Technology PLC, to be held today,
Chairman Klaus Bollmann will comment:

"As shareholders will have seen from our Annual Report and Accounts, the last
year ended on a positive note and some value was restored.

In the last two quarters our marketing feedback from potential customers has
been very encouraging, indicating that there is renewed investment in computer
infrastructure and modernisation of printing systems which is particularly
relevant to our FollowMe printing product.

In addition, we have seen significantly increased interest in our technology
leading networked access control products combined with increasing acceptability
of biometric ID systems. The increased interest comes from all parts of the
world confirming reports that demand for security of computer systems and area
access is a fast growing market.

As a result, we have begun to re-build our sales team in the UK and US which has
been reduced in the last few years while our customers were reluctant to invest
in new technology. The investment in our new sales team is therefore likely to
contribute to a small loss in the first six months of the current year.

However, we are optimistic that with a number of significant projects in the
pipeline, overall the group will report a profit for the year ending 31 March
2006.
