On 23 October 2007, Lonrho (AIM: LONR), the conglomerate with a structured
portfolio of African investments, announced that it had appointed Ambassador
Frances Cook as a non-executive Director of the company.


The current directorships of Ambassador Frances Cook are Alliant Techsystems
(NYSE) and Global Options Group (NASDAQ) and her previous directorship is
Pegasus Energy Limited.


There are no further disclosures to be made regarding Ambassador Frances Dee
Cook, aged 62, in accordance with the AIM Rules.
