Change of Directorship
The Board of Intandem Films Plc, the AIM-listed feature film financing and sales
company, announces that Serena Wilson, Finance Director, has resigned as a
director of the Company by mutual agreement with immediate effect.
The Company intends to appoint a new finance director in due course but for the
moment the finance responsibilities at Board level will be undertaken by Gary
Smith, Chairman and Chief Executive.
The Board thank Serena for her contribution whilst at the Company and wish her
every success for the future.
Commenting on the six months to 31 December 2007 Gary Smith said:
"During the 6 month period principal photography was completed on the Company's
biggest film to date, the $27m comedy How to Lose Friends and Alienate People
starring Simon Pegg and Kirsten Dunst. A total of over $10m in pre sales have
been completed although the Company will not account for its share of revenue
until the film is delivered, expected to be in May 2008 in time for a premiere
at the Cannes Film Festival.
The Company is in the process of establishing a solid slate of commercial films
with total budgets in excess of $100m and expect to start closing the financing
on the slate during the second half of the financial year."
