                    Conversion Rate for 2009 Final Dividend 
 
 
Further to the preliminary announcement of annual results released on 24 March 
2010, the Directors of Hochschild Mining plc ("the Company") have determined 
that the exchange rate to be applied to the 2009 final dividend is US$1: 
GBGBP0.652812. 
 
The final dividend will be paid on 27 May 2010 subject to shareholder approval 
at the Company's Annual General Meeting on 26 May 2010.
