APPOINTMENT OF NEW AUDITORS
Henderson High Income Trust plc (the 'Company') completed a
selection process for the appointment of external auditors on 20
September 2016 and announces its intentions to appoint
PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP as its new external auditor for the year
ending 31 December 2016, subject to completing the necessary
processes.
This appointment follows a competitive tender process, as
announced in the Company's 2015 Annual Report and Accounts.
Shareholder approval to confirm the appointment of
PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP will be sought at the 2017 Annual
General Meeting.
