SG Securities (London) Ltd ("SGSL") hereby gives notification of an increase of
its holding in the relevant share capital of German Smaller Companies Investment
Trust PLC from the last reported 4.53% to 5.03% (This is a share holding of
1,995,000 of issued share capital of 39,629,000).
This interest is wholly that of SGSL, as principal (as per section 208(5)).
