Gippsland Ltd ("Gippsland") was notified on 13 October 2006, that on, 31 May
2006, Situate Pty Ltd obtained 4,922,900 Ordinary Shares via an on market
purchase, increasing Situate Pty Ltd and its associated entities' interest in
the issued share capital of Gippsland from 19,077,100 shares (representing
8.19%) to 24,000,000 shares (representing 10.3%).


The entities associated with Situate Pty Ltd are Taveroam Pty Ltd and Richard
Basil William Beale.
