APPOINTMENT OF COMPANY SECRETARY

The Directors are pleased to advise that Mr RS (Sam) Middlemas has been
appointed Company Secretary of Gippsland Limited effective today.

Mr Middlemas is a Chartered Accountant and has over 15 years experience in
accounting and the management of public listed entities in the mining and
exploration industry.

Ms Julie Wolseley has resigned as Company Secretary effective today.

The Board would like to thank Ms Wolseley for her valuable contribution to the
company during her term as Company Secretary.
