Charter European Trust plc announces that on 15 March 2011 it
purchased, for cancellation, 60,000 Ordinary 1p Shares at 230.36p
per share (representing 0.27% of the issued ordinary capital).
Settlement of the purchased 60,000 Ordinary Shares is due on 18
March 2011.
Following the purchase and cancellation of the 60,000 Ordinary
Shares, the total number of Treasury shares held by the Company
will be 2,380,000. The issued share capital of the Company, less
the total number of Ordinary Shares held in Treasury, will be
22,319,917 Ordinary 1p Shares.
