in accordance with revised UK accounting standards.

Charter European Trust PLC announces that at close of business on 29 February
2008:
     
1)   the capital net asset value per ordinary share was 244.51p and

2)   based on the number of shares held in treasury, the net asset value per
     ordinary share was 243.33p.
