Charter Pan - European Trust plc announces that on 16 June 2006 it cancelled,
125,000 Ordinary 1p Shares from Treasury.

Following the cancellation of the 125,000 Treasury Shares, the total number of
Treasury shares held by the Company will be 2,085,000. The issued share capital
of the Company, less the total number of Ordinary Shares held in Treasury, will
be 29,345,688 Ordinary 1p Shares.
