  CMG plc secures another contract for its multimedia messaging platform with
                     Portugal's number one mobile operator


CMG, the global leader in mobile messaging solutions, today announced it has
signed a multimedia messaging contract with Telecomunicacoes Moveis Nacionais
(TMN), the mobile wing of Portugal Telecom and Portugal's leading mobile phone
operator. By deploying CMG's Multimedia Messaging Service Centre (MMSC) TMN will
be able to offer its clients a rich suite of multimedia mobile services that
includes sending and receiving photographs, images, animation, sound and texts.

Alvaro Plaza Ugalde, Managing Director of CMG Wireless Data Solutions in Spain,

Multimedia Messaging is the multimedia evolution of SMS and is targeted at
becoming a mass-market service. It offers mobile-to-mobile and application to
mobile messages just like SMS, but with a much richer user experience. MMS can
handle pictures, animations, audio and even video messages in addition to text.
The user composes MMS messages from pictures and audio/video recordings they
create themselves - for example, through digital cameras or memo recorders
integrated with or connected to their mobile phone. Users can also download
pictures and sounds from a public or private multimedia library.
