                    CROMA GROUP PLC ("CROMA" OR "THE GROUP")

                                 TRADING UPDATE

The Board of Croma, the AIM listed surveillance security and homeland defence
specialist, is pleased to provide the following trading statement which will be
made by the Chairman at the Company's AGM to be held later today.

John French, Non-Executive Chairman, presented an update on trading for the year
to December 2007, reporting unaudited accounts showing a turnover for the six
months period of �3,568,399 compared with �2,644,230 for the same period last
year; an increase of 35%. Profit before taxation, goodwill and amortisation for
the period is �152,952 compared with a loss for the same period last year of
�310,823. This represents a maiden profit for the Company.

Mr French indicated that current trading is continuing to show improvement with
prospects for the remainder of the year expected to benefit from further new
business gains from new and existing customers with benefits beginning to show
as a result of cost savings and efficiencies introduced during recent months.

Full details will be announced with the half year results expected to be
released on 31 March 2008.

Commenting on current trading, John French said "I am encouraged by what is
taking place within the Company and the trading prospects for future growth. As
indicated in my Chairman's statement with the year end results, I am standing
down from the Board, together with Non-Executive Director Gerard Thompson,
confident that my successor, Nick Hewson and CEO Sebastian Morley, who has made
a valuable contribution since joining the board following the acquisition of his
company, Vigilant, will capitalise on all future opportunities. Finally I would
like to thank all my colleagues and shareholders for their support during my
period in office."
