CMG PLC: CEO STEPS DOWN DUE TO PERSONAL CIRCUMSTANCES
                       - CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER TAKES OVER ROLE

At a meeting to discuss its results for the year to 31 December 2001, CMG plc
also announced that its longstanding Group Chief Executive, Tom Rusting, is
stepping down from his role with effect from 27 February 2002 due to personal
circumstances. He is replaced by Alistair Crawford who joined the company in
mid-2001 as Chief Operating Officer and who has been working alongside Tom
Rusting since that time.

CMG Group Chairman, Cor Stutterheim, commented:

"This is a particularly sad moment for me, since I have worked with Tom since he
joined the company back in 1973. It is impossible to do justice here to the
immense contribution he has made to the Group's development. His calm, logical
and wise counsel has been valued by so many people, not least his fellow Board
colleagues. Tom has some difficult personal circumstances that need his full
attention and we wish him and his family all possible success in that endeavour.
I know Tom will remain both very interested in CMG's progress and a staunch
supporter of our future strategy, even though he can no longer participate
directly in it.

"Of course, I am extremely pleased we were able to recruit Alistair Crawford
last year and have him work closely with Tom while getting up to speed. Alistair
is already a very visible presence around our Group and the impact he is
achieving gives confidence that he will make a seamless transition into his new
role."

Tom Rusting joined CMG in 1973 as a consultant and held various management
positions before becoming a national director in 1988 and Country Chairman of
The Netherlands in 1993. He was appointed Chief Executive of the Group Board in
September 1996.

Alistair Crawford (49) is a graduate of Oriel College, Oxford and began his
career in sales with the computer company Burroughs Machines (a predecessor of
Unisys). During the 1980s, he developed his experience with a number of
companies in software and consultancy, including exposure to the financial,
networking and telecommunications sectors. In 1990 he joined CSC Computer
Sciences as their UK Sales Director, subsequently becoming Vice President of
European Sales and ultimately UK President and Chief Executive. This was a
period of rapid growth by CSC in the UK - from revenues of £20 million to £350
million and from 220 to 4,000 staff during his time there.

In 1996, Alistair joined Oracle Corporation as Vice President of UK Consulting.
Under his leadership, the consulting arm doubled revenues and significantly
increased its profit margin, following which Alistair took on responsibility for
consulting on an EMEA-wide basis, again doubling revenues in two years to create
a billion dollar business. In 1999, he was responsible for the EMEA launch of
Oracle's Application Hosting Service. Since leaving Oracle in 2000, Alistair has
been involved in the start-up of a number of software consultancies specialising
in eCommerce, digital markets and Voice-over-Internet-Protocol (VoIP) products.
He joined CMG as Chief Operating Officer in July 2001.
