CLAY BRENDISH TAKES UP POSITION AS DEPUTY CHAIRMAN OF CMG
                           PLC

Clay Brendish has taken up the position as Executive
Deputy Chairman on the Board of CMG plc with effect from
1 June 2000.

Clay Brendish CBE was the co-founder of Admiral plc in
1979 and was its Executive Chairman throughout its
successful history.   CMG's recommended offer was
declared wholly unconditional on 31 May 2000 and the
process of integrating the two Information &
Communications Technology (ICT) services businesses began
on 1 June.

CMG plc Executive Chairman, Cor Stutterheim, commented:

     "We are very pleased to welcome Clay's immense
     experience to our Board as we move forward into the
     next phase of growth.  There are many exciting
     opportunities for the skills of our people right
     across the newly enlarged business and Clay will
     help us communicate our shared vision both inside
     and outside the company."

Clay Brendish is also the non-executive chairman of
Beacon Investment Fund and an advisor to the Chancellor
of the Duchy of Lancaster and the Parliamentary
Secretary, Office of Public Service, in respect of the
Next Steps executive agencies for which they are
responsible.  He is an external member of the Defence
Meteorological Board, a Trustee of the Economist
Newspapers Limited and a member of the Independent
Television Commission.
