BG Group PLC: Demerger of Lattice Group PLC (Update)
P & O: Demerger of P & O Princess Cruises PLC (Update)
Changes in FTSE Indexes
Further to the previous notice regarding the above demergers, the
estimated market capitalisation of Lattice Group has been assessed as
#5.96bn, based on today's closing market capitalisation for BG Group at
#14.90bn. Therefore giving a percentage ratio split of 60:40 in BG
Group and Lattice Group respectively.
The estimated market capitalisation of P & O Princess Cruises has been
assessed as #2.24bn,
based on today's closing market capitalisation for P & O at #3.86bn.
Therefore giving a percentage ratio split of 58:42 in P & O Princess
Cruises and P & O respectively.
The above ratios will be used in closing market capitalisations tomorrow
in order to implement the changes as detailed below.
Therefore in accordance with ground rule 7.2.3, FTSE announces the
following changes:
