Capital Radio plc: 95.8 Capital FM launches a new Breakfast Show



Capital Radio plc, the UK's leading commercial radio group, is pleased to
announce the launch of a New Breakfast Show on 95.8 Capital FM, starting January
2003, hosted by Chris Tarrant.  Details of which will be announced shortly.



95.8 Capital FM, London's number 1 commercial radio station, which is home to
the market leading breakfast show, has recently made a number of innovative
changes to its marketing and programming to further cement its position at the
top of the market.



David Mansfield, Group Chief Executive, commented:-

"We have been discussing a number of programming ideas with Chris and we are
both delighted that he will be launching the station's New Breakfast Show in its
first year"



Chris Tarrant added:-

"I just can't help it, radio is in my blood and so is Capital. I'm sorry to

yet!"
