                   Appointment of new Non-Executive Director


The Board of Clean Air Power Limited (AIM: CAP) is pleased to announce the
appointment, with immediate effect, of Hans Gunnar Folkesson as a Non-Executive
Director of the Company.

Hans Folkesson, aged 55, lives in Sweden and has extensive engineering and
automobile industry experience. He has been with Volvo since 1995, first as
Senior Vice President R&D, Quality and Purchasing at Volvo Trucks and from 2000
until mid 2006 as Senior Vice President R&D at Volvo Cars a subsidiary of FMC.
During this autumn up to end of this year, when he will retire from FMC, Hans is
Senior Project Leader, Hybrid Technology for Ford's European brands"

John Pettitt, CEO of Clean Air Power Limited, commented: "It gives me great
pleasure to welcome Hans to our Board. He has broad experience of working for
automotive manufacturers and brings extensive experience of the quality and
supply chain management processes that Clean Air Power will need as it seeks to
reach its aspiration of working with a truck manufacturer.

I am confident that he will bring a significant benefit as we continue to
develop and build a substantial company based around our unique technology that
converts a heavy-duty diesel engine into a Dual-Fuel(TM) engine capable of
running on a mix of diesel and natural gas."
